Vigilia was founded on a simple realization: Healthcare Institutions, Life Sciences Manufacturers, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and Distributors collectively share a responsibility for product safety, quality, and vigilance, yet the systems and processes connecting these organizations remained fragmented.
The team at Vigilia approached the problem by understanding how information originates in a clinical environment and moves through the post-market lifecycle phases of product complaints, recalls, corrections and removals, product returns, field service & repair, Post-Market Surveillance (PMS) and regulatory reporting.

Vigilia's foundation comes from firsthand experience spanning leadership in quality & vigilance, field service management, biomedical/clinical engineering, post-market quality assurance and customer account management for MedTech and Pharmaceutical organizations.
Working across healthcare and manufacturer organizations revealed a recurring challenge: although teams share the goal of delivering safer, more reliability healthcare products, they often approach the same issue through different responsibilities, systems and perspectives.
This experience shaped Vigilia's vision of a connected healthcare product ecosystem built around the needs of the professionals responsibile for product performance, safety, quality, and compliance.
